The details that matter

What the office can learn from a day’s records.

CutFill connects the plan with what people actually enter. Start with the job and follow the people, equipment, and field evidence behind it.

Who worked where?
Assignments show the plan. Job time records show the hours people entered, including separate segments when someone switches jobs. Foreman attendance and closeout add context to those hours.
What changed on site?
Notes, photos, task updates, and the job-day closeout give the office a record to review before making the next assignment or answering a customer question.
What does the machine need?
Core equipment records keep the operator, assignment, and daily entries together. Fleet Maintenance adds issues, owned repair work, and completed service history.
How much material arrived or left?
Material Tracking adds orders and accepted or rejected tickets. The same add-on captures delivered water and hydrant-meter readings; owner/admin cost views show the recorded inputs and gaps.

Before you choose

Is CutFill right for your crew?

Who is CutFill built for?

Owner-operators and small to mid-size excavation, dirt work, and grading companies managing jobs, crews, and equipment.

Which subscription fits a small crew?

Core Crew includes 1 office, 1 foreman, and 3 field worker seats. Growing Operation and Full Operations cover larger role mixes and more workflows. Compare the subscription offerings on the Pricing page.

Does CutFill replace our estimating or accounting software?

Keep those tools. CutFill records the daily work: assignments, hours, equipment, notes, and closeout. Estimates, invoices, payments, and payroll stay in your existing systems.

Can crews use CutFill without cell service?

Previously loaded work and supported time, attendance, task, note, and closeout updates can be used offline. The phone needs a connection for new assignments and successful sync before the office sees an update. Ask us to demonstrate your remote-site workflow.

Can we track water and haul tickets?

Yes, with Material Tracking on any base plan, using existing seats. Set up job orders, record material tickets or water readings, and review the quantities and supporting record. Truck dispatch and supplier invoicing remain separate.
