The details that matter

Set the clock policy that fits the way your crew works.

Expanded Ops adds optional GPS and reason controls alongside shared views, custom roles, and company options. Both controls start off and can be enabled independently.

A location at the action
When GPS is required, the phone needs a location fix for clock actions and a person’s own time-entry save. It records the point at that action, not a continuous route or a geofence check.
Reasons the company owns
Require a clock-in or clock-out reason from an account-managed list. Lunch In, Lunch Out, Start Work, End Work, and Other are starter choices; the account can manage the list and note requirements.
A clear failure case
A denied permission or failed location fix does not produce a successful punch. An offline punch must already have its location fix when confirmed. Try this with the phones and permissions your crew uses.
Access still has boundaries
Custom roles organize responsibility within the purchased seat and module access. They do not turn a worker seat into an office seat or unlock a module the account has not enabled.

Questions

Expanded Ops

Can Core Crew keep private saved views?

Yes. Expanded Ops adds account-shared views and custom roles; Core retains private views and product roles.

How is the module included?

Add it to Core Crew using existing seats. Growing and Full include the module. Ask us to map it to the office and field roles you need.

Is GPS required on Core Crew?

Core has the standard clock without these optional controls. Expanded Ops adds the ability to require a phone location fix and clock reasons. Growing and Full include Expanded Ops; Core can add the module.

Is this live crew tracking or geofencing?

No. The clock location is a point stored at the action. CutFill does not keep a continuous location trail or test the point against a job boundary through this setting.
